Ten Things Tuesday (counting some blessings)

1. Yay - the stock market is back up today. Let's hope the trend continues!

2. I have some really great friends. I can't find the words to express how much I appreciate them.

3. My kid. Wow. She rocks my world

4. I love my neighborhood.

5. I have a hubby who helps me keep my priorities straight, and my feet on the ground

6. As bad as things are in this country, I still have a lot of reasons to hope things will turn around over time.

7. I marvel at the technology that is available these days and how far it has come in the last 20 years.

8. As much as she annoys me, my mom is still healthy and feisty as ever. Even better, she doesn't live with me anymore!

9. Paxil. How did I ever function without it? Oh yeah - I didn't

10. I can walk most places I need to go these days - except dd's school. Even then, I could hitch a ride if needed. It's nice to not be a slave to the oil industry.

Yeah. Pharmaceuticals are on my gratitude list, though mine are for birth control and beating back shingles attacks (oh, and for when my back goes out... damned back), but I am no less grateful for them..
