Harlem Globe Trotters

Dd and I went to a nearby town to see the Harlem Globe Trotters in action tonight. It was a blast, except for the unreasonable and completely rude people who had me on the edge of some kind of meltdown at a few points. I cannot believe that people not only ALLOW, but ENCOURAGE their children to push in front of smaller kids to get autographs. My favorite part was when one lady told me that I didn't need to yell at the kids. Um, excuse me, I'd yell at their freakin parents if they were anywhere near! A lot of these kids had a half dozen autographs and were pushing in front of kids who had NONE.

I am so glad I lost that stupid "complaint" bracelet some wacky friend gave me. It would have definitely burst into flames during that episode. The meds were definitely wearing off. I will try to post some photos of the fun parts of the event later. Right now, I better take my meds!!

Gophers are church's "kids club" for 4 and 5 year olds. Story, snack, craft, games......good times.

I haven't seen the Globe Trotters in years.

I'm always amazed at how rude parents can be. It's often true that a bratty/pushy/rude kid will have a bratty/pushy/rude parent.
