Ugh.
Well, I'm not as worked up about it as I was the first time, so that's progress. Still, I'm dreading it and the pain that is bound to follow. I get my permanent crown on today and another filling. How am I going to steal all of Connie's Halloween candy if my mouth is swollen and painful??

Well, duh. You steal it just like you always would, by taking it. You just don't EAT it right away... but you can still steal it when she goes to sleep. No problem there whatsoever.
